Youth Coach

We have a great opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Youth Worker to join our Youth Services Team in a full time capacity.
We support high-risk young people as they navigate their way through the challenges they face in education and towards securing employment, as well as improving their wellbeing.
The nature of the role requires empathy and an ability to connect, empower and work alongside high-risk youth.
The successful applicant will be an experienced youth worker, a team player who can demonstrate initiative, leadership and reliability, be computer literate and culturally aware.
The Springboard team is dynamic and full of passionate people who are dedicated to seeing the best outcomes for our young people. You will need to be able to uphold the values of our organisation, understand the principles that we operate by and work within these requirements.

Springboard is a faith-based charity, established in 2002 and is situated in Warkworth. We exist so that every young person and their family have someone in their corner and to provide wrap-around support services for young people who need a little extra help along the way.
A full New Zealand driver’s license is essential in this role and you must be currently living in New Zealand.

Café Manager

We are looking for an experienced Café Manager to run our café operation at Sheepworld, Warkworth!

You will be a motivated and competent Chef and Barista, prepared to be hands on in the kitchen and counter while coaching your team to build the skills and resourcing we need.

We want to build up our Café operation through the winter months ready for sustainable operations through a busy Summer.

You will be responsible for organizing and leading the day-to-day operations of a cafe including creating a training environment for those looking to be upskilled. 

Duties include ordering and inventory management, overseeing and training café assistants/trainees, providing  excellent customer service, engaging with customers and management peers at Sheepworld to develop the café offerings, increase revenue and return visits by satisfied customers.

Importantly you will enjoy hospitality and want to nurture customer relationships, resolve issues, and strive to create a popular and reputable local café at an iconic tourist experience destination.
